Charlie’s site visits included explorations of the town centre, Barnsley Museums and their local archives which offer insights into some of the artefacts, marketing materials, and working conditions of the local glass industry, meetings with Cooper Gallery and Museum staff. The musuem and gallery have some amazing materials which will inform and inspire the artworks we develop. We hope to collect additional historic and personal accounts of working with glass during our engagement events and activities.
